Hoodia is famous for its ability to curb appetite and was made known to the general public in 2003 when it was featured in a TV presentation. The greatest thing about Hoodia (in my opinion) is that it has opened up the door for some very healthy dieting. This is plainly because if you want to diet, you no longer have to deal with the hunger monster or the carbohydrate cravings any longer.  Hoodia is reported to help suppress appetite by tricking the brain into thinking that it has already eaten a good share of carbohydrates.

The very first thing that I do recommend since you can keep the appetite monsters at bay is to do a full roughage a fiber diet to clean out you whole digestive system. It’s a fact that ever since you were born your digestive tracks has had to work almost 24/7. The result is that most humans suffer from very large amounts of “plaque” which builds up in the digestive system causing you to be unhealthy, and generally feeling lethargic. A diet which concentrates on fibrous foods such as select vegetables and fruits will effectively help to clean out all this built-up dirt in your system.

Many people have tried this diet and the results have been stunning. You might not necessarily loose weight very fast but after 1 week you will feel like a new human being because of the extra efficiency of your digestive system and the lack of any disgusting matter that may have been left behind many years ago. On the downside is that you will absolutely stink up the toilet. The extra roughage will clean out all the old years of rubbish which is extremely smelly and filthy. Just be happy that it is out of your system and into the municipal sewerage system.

Once you have flushed and scrubbed out all the filthy “plaque” in you system its now time to perform you actual weight loss diet. Again, I must stress that this should prove to be quite easy with the help of Hoodia as you never really feel blemished as you would with a normal weight loss diet. My recommendation for good general weight loss diets is basically to reduce the consumption of carbohydrates by half while keeping the protein and vegetable amount the same. This is effectively lower the number of calories intake per day and should set you off to a very healthy weight loss system. With this simple system you should be slowly but surely loosing a at least a couple of pounds a week, naturally you should continue until you feel that you have lost enough weight.

As an additional type of diet to consider I would also suggest that people take up the “juice diet”. The juice diet is notoriously hard to follow as it involves only eating solid food every 2 days however with the help of Hoodia, the diet should prove to be much easier to follow. The purpose of the juice diet is to detox your body. The idea is that your body doesn’t need to spend its resources on providing energy to the digestive system because juice is very easily adsorbed. The extra energy is used directly to clean up your system and your lymph nodes. You should consider doing this diet for at most 2 weeks before going back to your regular diet.
