Hoodia Gordonii Weight Loss Research By Mark Dailey
In 2002, Pfizer released its rights on the active ingredient because it was too hard to synthesize. On the same year, the CSIR (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research) acknowledged the rights of the San Tribesman over the local supply of Hoodia Gordonii, and granted them a percentage of the profits from the sales provided that the plants were sold as extracts.
How Hoodia Gordonii Gained Its Fame
After 2003, several clinical tests were conducted on the effectiveness of the new supplement. The experiments proved once and for all that Hoodia Gordinii is an effective and safe supplement for fighting obesity.
In these experiments, eighteen overweight males participated in the activity, and the instant results were reduced craving for food, and a lesser overall calorie intake leading to as much as 10lbs average weight reduction in only a month’s time. Other separate tests were also conducted, and in one of these tests, was Stewart Gulian, a resident of Palm Beach Florida, who lost 80lbs using Hoodia Gordonii, and was featured on both CNN and CBS.
The mode of action of this food supplement is the reduction of desire for food. These statistics do not really set the standard for all obese people, but the fact of the matter is that it’s a proven fact that people tend to feel hungry less often by consuming the extract of Hoodia Gordonii. In effect, these people eat less than they normally do and in effect loss weight by natural means.
